We returned to the USA at midnight May 4. It was a busy time and much was done in spite of a determined effort to be retired.
We agreed to invest the proceeds of my book sales in the local community in the form of labor dollars for two brothers who walked over twice a week from the next hill.

I somehow stumbled on your blog and it gave me such a rush of adrenaline despite it being 3am here in Australia. I lived in Belle, in the school house, during a community development project with the aqua ducts. Thank you for reminding me of just how fantastic experience it was. Your picture instantly jolted my memory into overdrive. I can still smell it!
